OSU Fashion Group Tells The Story Of A Human Trafficking Survivor

Unchained OSU is putting on their annual fashion show featuring pieces designed and produced by Ohio State students. Everything about the show is supposed to raise awareness for victims of sex trafficking.

The group is passionate about giving to those in need and educating students about the epidemic. During the show, they’ll be accepting hygiene products to donate to Reaching For The Shining Starz. They’re also accepting donations here that will support Strategies for Success Scholarship, housed under She Has A Name.

According to the president of Unchained OSU, “The scholarship assists trafficking survivors in pursuing higher education.”

While donations aren’t required to attend the fashion show, they’re suggested.

The event is taking place on Saturday, March 28 in the Curl Viewpoint room on campus. Register to attend the show here. Stay tuned for the March 1870 where we’ll have more behind-the-scenes information on this year’s show.
