Leadership at Ohio State will meet Wednesday to make a decision regarding the investigation into Urban Meyer, according to the Columbus Dispatch.
University officials released a statement that said the 19-member board of trustees will meet in executive session at 9 a.m. Wednesday to discuss Meyer’s actions.
In addition to the decision coming Wednesday, the article also claims that two sources connected to the investigation think a suspension is in the works for Meyer.
Two sources connected to the investigation said the likely recommendation to university President Michael V. Drake is a suspension for Meyer. Drake and the board could also opt for a “time served” punishment since Meyer has been removed from football activities for more than two weeks.
Whatever the decision, at the very least there will be a decision when Wednesday comes, and Ohio State football fans everywhere can stop creating conspiracy theories as to what the future holds for its head coach.
