Ohio State Debuts at No. 10 in First College Football Playoff Poll of 2018

The one-loss Ohio State Buckeyes are ranked No. 10 after the College Football Playoff Committee’s first set of rankings. They are sandwiched between No. 9 Kentucky and No. 11 Florida. Led by Dwayne Haskins, the team has certainly had its fair share of dominant performances, but the one game on everyone’s mind is the loss to unranked Purdue. However, it seems the Committee doesn’t think much of the loss seeing as the team is ranked in the top 10.

For reference, in 2014, for the inaugural year of the College Football Playoff, Ohio State debuted at No. 16. They went on to climb the ranks and eventually won the national championship.
