Official and Unofficial Autumn 2017 Commencement Facts

Congrats, class of Autumn 2017! Welcome to the crippling real world!

After all the dust settled, Instagram pictures were taken, and parties were celebrated, the Ohio State University class of Autumn 2017 can rest easy today knowing they will forever be an alumnus of the university. Congrats!!

With that being said, it’s time to take a look at the official stats from commencement on Dec. 17 via a press release from the university.

Total Number of Graduates Receiving a Degree: 3,721

Doctoral Degrees: 225

Professional Degrees: 3

Masters Degrees: 453

Bachelors Degrees: 2,678

Associates Degrees: 360

Certificates: 2

Honorary Degree: The honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree was awarded to Marian Wright Edelman, president and founder of the Children’s Defense Fund.
