In today’s news that will surprise no one, Justin Fields has been named the starting quarterback for Ohio State for the 2019-2020 season.
Fields transferred from Georgia during the offseason, consequently sent Tate Martell packing through the transfer portal, and has been a shoe-in to win the starting job from day 1. A former five-star recruit, Fields will take command of Ryan Day’s offense to lead the Buckeyes.
Don’t forget: Ohio State football is right around the corner. You’ll get to see Fields (and the rest of the team) in real game action on Aug. 31 against Florida Atlantic.
