CRIME: An Axed Man Fights Another Man On COTA Bus

A victim and a suspect are hospitalized after an axe attack on a COTA bus Friday night.

Around 10 p.m. on Friday, police were dispatched to a bus stop on North High Street and Hudson Avenue, just north of Ohio State University’s campus, on a report of a stabbing.

Fox28 reports that when the COTA bus pulled up, both men got on the bus and continued fighting.

Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered Ronald Sparks and Samuel Myatt fighting at the bus stop—one of them had an axe.

Both men are in stable condition.
