I was scrolling through Club Penguin memes on Twitter because you know, relaxation. When I stumbled upon the same Twitter account over and over again: Club Penguin Online.
I remember the shutdown of Club Penguin. My heart was broken knowing one of the biggest parts of my childhood had reached its expiration date even though they were constantly developing new games on different platforms and introducing new storylines and events.
This website is flawlessly similar to the old Club Penguin–I made an account and waddled around for a little bit to confirm for you guys.
And here’s the best part: everyone’s a member.
That’s right. You don’t have to pay a subscription fee to become a member. Just start playing games, racking up coins, and balling out in your igloo.
There are also server-specific “safe chats” where the original Club Penguin experience is more appropriate for younger users. But for those of us who used to make account after account pushing the lines of what was okay to say before getting banned, there is no fear to swear!
The Twitter account has been active since 2017, but young adult Twitter just got hold of this information after the website breeched 3 MILLION users in June.
Treat yourself to a little nostalgia this summer and head over to https://cponline.pw/.
