Chris Holtmann Adds Jake Diebler as Assistant

Ohio State men’s basketball coach Chris Holtmann suffered a loss earlier this offseason when Mike Schrage announced he’d be taking the head coaching gig at Elon University. However, his replacement will probably excite you.

Earlier today, Jake Diebler (not the Jon Diebler you remember balling out in the NCAA tournament, it’s his brother) was announced as an assistant coach for the Buckeyes.

“I couldn’t be more excited to join Coach Holtmann and his staff at THE Ohio State University,” Diebler said. “I have admired this staff’s work over the last few years and have grown to know them to be one of the best in the country.”
