Celebrate Urban Meyer’s Legacy With The Buckeye Standup Club

Urban Meyer’s last day with the Buckeyes will be in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1 where his final match up will be against the No. 9 ranked Washington Huskies. And as a way to celebrate the last seven years Meyer has given us the fans and students at Ohio State, the Buckeye Standup Club will be hosting a free comedy showcase at Donato’s Basement.

The Buckeye Standup’s Urban Meyer Send Off Spectacular is taking place on Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will feature jokes from the club as well as alumnus Ricky Mulvey. You might recognize Mulvey from his satirical column with The Lantern last year named “All Jokes Aside.” The doors will open at 7 p.m. and comedy should begin around 7:30 p.m.

This show also doubles as the Standup Club’s last performance of the semester, and hopefully it’ll help take the edge off for students before the stressful final season hits.

For more information on the event, check out their Facebook page.

The redhead in the Michigan State sweatshirt I sat across from in Thompson today (2/14). If you don’t already have one, I’d love to be your Valentine.

I hate the people that loudly chew their food or smack their gum in the middle of class, I literally hope you get a terrible sunburn, a million paper cuts, and then dunked in a pool of lemon juice

Where are all the cute redheads at?

NOT people who open containers of tree nuts in open places. Seriously, people are DEATHLY allergic to them. Not just if they eat them, but also if they have contact with their oils or she’ll them. If your hungry, open a bag of potato chips. Don’t put a whole population at risk.
