Best Bars To Watch The Basketball Games

The NCAA Tournament is finally here! Now it’s time to kick back some beers and avoid all responsibilities by watching basketball all damn day.

Here are some places you can watch the games without racking up an $80 tab at some chain sports bar and feel rushed to get out.

Chumley’s ♦ 1516 N. High St.

Tons of space for seating, a loaded beer menu, tasty bar food, and more TVs than most bars on campus. Chum’s is the place to be for March basketball.

Out-R-Inn ♦ 20 Frambes Ave

Where Out-R-Inn might lack in TVs, they make up for in space with their large covered patio out back, the upstairs section, and the main flood as well. Plus drinks are cheap and you can get pizza next door on the super low.

Ethyl and Tank ♦ 19 E. 13th Ave.

Ethyl offers plenty of seating options for anyone trying to watch the games with a large upstairs complete with seating, tables and booths on the main floor, and seating at the bar. Almost every seat in the house faces a TV so you won’t have to sit awkwardly and have neck spasms all day too!

Fourth Street Bar and Grill ♦ 1810 N. Fourth St.

Fourth Street might not have as many TVs as some of the other bars on this list, but they have some well placed TVs where you can sit in one spot and watch multiple different games at the same time. Just be sure to get there a little earlier to secure your perfect table.

Leo’s On The Alley ♦ 25 Chittenden Ave.

If you could fit an extra TV on the wall behind the bar at Leo’s, show us. This also doubles as a great excuse for staying near the bar to watch the games for quicker drink access! Woo, alcohol!
