Willy Phoenix is one of those gregarious, old-school musicians who has been melting faces before our entire staff was born. He’s that guy who’s head is wrapped in tie dye, eyes sagging from rockstar experience, who despite his age, has the stage presence of a psychedelic wildebeest. Raised in Marion, Ohio, Phoenix has played all over the country with legends such as BB King and The Talking Heads, and continues to rock out all over the Columbus area.
