Over the past few years, Ohio State has had its share of class-cancelling potential. Rarely do campus leaders pull the trigger on cancelling classes, but today that decision looks a little different.
President Michael V. Drake announced in a campus-wide email last night that classes will be virtually instructed until at minimum March 30.
Students have taken to Twitter to reflect on the university’s usually strict no-cancellation policy.
USG President, Kate Greer, built a thread of information she received from a phone call with President Drake.
For spring breakers spending the week in China, Italy, South Korea, or Iran, (level 3 warning countries, decided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) Ohio State says travelers “are required to observe a 14-day period of self-quarantine and monitoring.”
Campus bars seem to be the biggest advocates for students returning to campus after the break.
