“I got into rap a year and a half ago, so I’ve spent that time kinda finding what I want from albums and songs and I feel like the ones I gave are what I settled on if that makes sense. Complex instrumentals and a love of jazz got me into rap (specifically Kendrick’s To Pimp a Butterfly), and these albums are all really strong in that regard, while also having good chord progressions and lyrical technique/messages.”
