How To Wear A Pajama Top To Class

Pajama tops are in.

Even though you can wear whatever you want in college, it is a widely-known, fashion faux paus to wear pajamas to class. Many feel the idea is both tacky and an incredibly lazy way to get ready for the day. Pajama tops, however, have been a Fall and Winter trend, recently hitting the runways and then trickling down to stores like H&M and Forever 21. Pajama tops are now a comfortable alternative to a plain shirt or sweatshirt and can be worn to class in three stylish ways:

With Jeans

Wearing a pajama top with jeans allows you to feel comfortable while also looking like you made an effort with your outfit. A silk top with ripped jeans and booties gives you a trendy and yet simple look that can be worn throughout the day. The look also looks great for a simple night out, as its still aesthetically pleasing and warm at the same time.

With leggings or tights

To achieve this look, you want to wear a pajama top that is a size bigger than what you usually purchase. This gives the top an oversized look and allows the top to flow more. To finish off this look, knee-high boots and a cardigan will finish this look for a dressy and completely lazy ensemble.

With loose-fitting pants

If you want to go completely in with this trend, loose-fitting pants will be an equally comfortable option. Loose pants with sandals or sneakers can go great on days when the weather isn’t being too frigid. Adding a scarf and comfortable heels can make the look the perfect blend of comfortable and chic.
