Started in The Land, now they’re movin’ into The Bus.
When you are going out to the bars and drinking often, we don’t have to be the people to tell you that that shit gets expensive really quickly. Between the overpriced shots of Fireball, those 20 boom shots you bought for the whole bar, and the 2 a.m. mozzarella sticks you had to have, you have to master the art of ballin’ on a budget. That means finding bars with cheap food and drinks, great specials, and within walking distance of campus to pinch a few pennies on Uber rides.
Ballers on a budget and weekend warriors alike, meet Two Bucks, you’re new favorite place to get drunk on the cheap. Two Bucks is a restaurant and bar coming from Cleveland to Columbus on 195 Chittenden Avenue and they are bringing a menu full of affordable pricing to help liquor you up for any night on the town. They are planning an opening in spring, but on Friday and Saturday this weekend you’ll get the chance to see what it’s all about at their soft opening.
Two Bucks is all about bringing in those alcoholic drinks you can’t wait to pour down your throat without gouging your wallet of that $50 spot your dad gave you at the beginning of the week. You won’t pay more than $2 for any beer off the domestic menu (Bud Light, Miller Lite, Coors Light, hell even Yuengling) unless you want a Bud Light Lime which is only $2.50. For only an extra $1 to $2.50, you can upgrade to a craft or imported brew.
Not everyone likes beer (we don’t get it, either), but they have you covered there too. The liquor and wine menu doesn’t have any options over $5.50, and their shareable vodka pitchers are only freaking $7.
