This weekend will be the annual Race for the Cure race happening in downtown Columbus. While a 5k is a lot and you may have never moved that much in your body, the race is more fun and pink than many other races you have or will ever do.
And the best part about it is that it is for a good cause.
All those people running and the money that goes into registration goes towards helping fight breast cancer in a huge, national movement in the form of exercise. Everyone there will have something to fight for on their back, pink on their bodies and joy in seeing the mass amount of people coming out to exercise to end breast cancer for good.
The race starts at 8:45 a.m. so no one has to wake up at the crack of dawn to get there AND there is a huge following of people would rather walk so you can fit right in.
Or if your lazy ass does not want to move 3 miles ever in your life even if it is for a good cause, you can just avoid downtown this Saturday.
