It’s going down in Athens April 20-21.
Number Fest 2018 will have a little bit of everything for music festival fans. While Marshmello will be the big headliner in terms of the EDM scene, Lil Uzi Vert will be the main man providing the rap and hip-hop to fans.
Fans know Marshmello for his iconic look on stage as he’s always sporting a huge marshmallow shaped cylinder on his head whenever he performs his set on stage. Marshmello has been in the music scene for quite some time now and he’s rolled out hits with the likes of Khalid, Selena Gomez, and Migos.
Lil Uzi Vert came onto the rap scene through the SoundCloud wave dropping banger albums and singles like “Money Longer” and “Do What I Want,” then found even more success after his single “XO TOUR Llif3” and for his feature on Migos’ “Bad and Boujee.” He was recently nominated as the Grammy’s best new artist of 2017.
The headliners this year are just a taste of what the Fest will be this year. It’s definitely going to be a solid mix of hip-hop and EDM as other big names performing include Ohio native Trippie Redd, Rezz, and RL GRIME.
“We are always trying to showcase a cutting-edge lineup and bring artists and fans from all different spectrums of music—this year we are definitely delivering on that mission,” Prime Social Group Managing Partner Adam Lynn said in a press release.
Trippie Redd has gained popularity in the SoundCloud/trap rap scene for his songs like “Love Scars,” or “Dark Knight Dummo” featuring Travis Scott. On the otherhand, Rezz, has found her way into the EDM scene after releasing her first studio album “Mass Manipulation” under the the Mau5trap label. RL GRIME has also had success in the music industry mixing his EDM influences with big names in the rap and R&B game like Miguel and Big Sean.
