The food trucks of Columbus are starting to peek their heads out at the warm weather, and Alphabetical Soups and Salads food truck is serving-up the ideal foods for either hot or cold weather.
Alphabetical Soups and Salads serves—take a guess—fresh soups and salads daily. Try a cup of homemade soup for five dollars or a bowl for seven dollars. Although Alphabetical’s soups change daily, a few of my favorites include the Broccoli Cheddar, the Chicken Tortilla and the Beer Gut Chili. Each soup comes with fresh ciabatta bread and delicious toppings.
If you’d prefer a salad, Alphabetical lets you build your own. Choose your greens first from iceberg, romaine, spinach or spring mix. Add chicken or steak for a slight up-charge. Next, cheese it up with feta, mozzarella or cheddar. Choose your toppings from a long list of veggies. Choose from extras like sunflower seeds, craisins, almonds, BETS or bacon. F.Y.I, BETS are alphabet noodles fried and seasoned—how appropriate!
If you feeling adventurous and want to try a soup and a salad, no worries, Alphabetical has three different options for you. “The Lean” combo is a cup of soup and half salad for eight dollars. “The Mean” is a cup of soup and a full salad for ten dollars. Finally, “The Fighting Machine” combo is a bowl of soup and a full salad for 12 dollars.
